CITY DISCOVERIES · CULTURE · COAST
Find your kind of Thailand.
Start with the holiday you want, rather than a list of places to tick off. Time in a city, a cultural stop and a beach stay each bring a different pace—and they do not all need to fit into one trip.

Choose the places that suit your holiday.
Bangkok: a city chapter
Bangkok offers a starting point for a cultural itinerary, with landmarks such as the Grand Palace and Wat Pho. Decide which visits matter to you, then leave room between them rather than building a continuous sightseeing list.
Chiang Mai: time for culture
Chiang Mai’s old-city area includes temples such as Wat Phra Singh. If this appeals, discuss a northern chapter in your itinerary rather than adding a distant stop simply to cover more places.
Phuket or Krabi: a coastal chapter
Phuket offers a choice of beaches, while Krabi is known for its coast, islands and limestone scenery. Discuss the atmosphere you want, where you prefer to stay and how much travelling you want to do.
A considered route beats a crowded itinerary.
Our planning suggestion for a shorter holiday is to start with one main region or a manageable pair of bases. Each hotel change introduces packing, check-out, transport and check-in time.
For a city-and-beach combination, treat the transfer day as part of the holiday rather than a full sightseeing day. Tell us whether you prefer more independent time or a programme of arranged visits.
If your interests span Bangkok, the north and the coast, consider a longer stay. The right number of nights depends on your flights, chosen destinations and the pace of your group.
- City and coast: a city stay followed by time at a beach base.
- Culture-led: fewer bases with more time for heritage and local discoveries.
- Beach-focused: one main base, with selected excursions and unplanned time.
Choose your base before choosing every excursion.
A hotel can look close to an attraction on a country-wide map yet still involve a substantial journey. Discuss the pickup area, airport route and the places you expect to visit before selecting the stay.
Tell us if you want a quieter setting, nearby restaurants, easy access for children or less time on the road. These preferences help narrow the proposal more than a star rating alone.
Plan around your dates and the agreed arrangements.
Keep current entry requirements separate from holiday inspiration. Our team can discuss the assistance available for your nationality and circumstances. This guide does not quote visa rules, approval promises or old package prices.
- Check the weather outlook for your chosen region and dates rather than assuming every coast has identical conditions.
- Boat trips and outdoor excursions depend on local conditions; keep some flexibility in the plan.
- Share traveller ages, mobility needs and any dietary requirements.
- Check transfers, meals, guide arrangements and entrance tickets in the quotation.
- Ask what happens if an excursion cannot operate, and which alternatives or cancellation conditions apply.
A few useful answers.
Can I change the route in a published Thailand package?
Tell us what you would like to add, remove or slow down. We can discuss a revised route and quotation, subject to suitable arrangements and availability.
Do you have a fixed best month for every Thailand holiday?
The right dates depend on your chosen region and plans. Discuss the route and check current conditions rather than relying on one country-wide weather promise.
